WYCOMBE HOUSE COLTS CRICKET

Colts Cricket

Wycombe House has a very active and committed colts section. Our objective is to harness and develop young cricketers in a safe and enjoyable environment, helping them achieve their full potential.

Our number one priority is child welfare and, in recognition of the welfare and management infrastructure we have in place, we have achieved the national Clubmark accreditation status.

We are also committed to being a high performance club – and have a range of initiatives in place to increase the cricketing standards and compete successfully.

We run teams from U10 to U17 in the West London leagues and train regularly through the season and off-season. If you play cricket or would like to play cricket, please contact us for further details. We are always keen to strengthen our squads and to develop both experienced and novice cricketers.

All colts at Wycombe House are expected to abide by the Colts Code of Conduct

Colts Welfare

Colts’ welfare is Wycombe House’s top priority – and we have a comprehensive Welfare Policy that is based on the ECB’s Safe Hands guidelines. This policy contains important information and we encourage all parents to read it. It also contains information on how to report a welfare related concern.

Our Club Welfare Officers are:

Mrs Jules Cullen (07768 804609) – Club Welfare Officer.
Ms Carole Crane (07930 199169) – Deputy Welfare Officer.

Full contact details can be found via our Contact page.

Our Welfare Policy Document can be downloaded via the link below.

We are “Clubmark” accredited by Sport England – which is a measure of our operating standards in relation to safeguarding and protecting children and club management. Each year we submit an operating plan that demonstrates how we will maintain these standards – and from time to time we are assessed as part of a re-accreditation process.

Colts / Junior Membership

In order to join the colts section at Wycombe House, parents must register their child with us and pay the annual membership fee. Colt membership fees for Winter Nets 2019 are £99 per child and £75 for siblings (brother or sister).

The standard PDF form below should be used for new colts to provide us with the welfare information we need. The form needs to be emailed to wycombe.house@hotmail.co.uk.

For existing colts, we will print the details we already hold and ask parents to check that they are still correct.

Colts welfare is taken extremely seriously at Wycombe House and we encourage parents to read our policies which can be found here.

We are always keen to strengthen our squads and to develop both experienced and novice cricketers. If you would like to join our colts section, please contact us or speak to a coach at training.

All cheques should be made payable to Wycombe House Cricket Club and should have the child’s name written on the back.
